[UPDATE] Jonas Brothers Return To Latin America For 2013 Tour

LOS ANGELES, CA (December 13, 2012) — Following the immediate sellout of their October performance at Radio City in New York and three sold out back-to-back nights in November at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, the Jonas Brothers announced today a 12-date Latin American tour for 2013. The band will perform their hits, including highly anticipated new music set to release next year.
Tickets will be available at select Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster phone charge at 1-800-745-3000, online at livenation.com, and ticketmaster.com beginning Saturday, December 15, at 9:00am (local time). “We can’t think of a better way to start off the New Year than being on the road again,” said the group. “We’re excited to see our Latin American fans again and share our new music with them!”
The Jonas Brothers burst onto the music scene in August 2007 with their self-titled debut album, which included the hit single, “S.O.S.” The song soared to #1 on iTunes while the CD made the top five albums on the Billboard charts and was soon certified double platinum. With the release of the band’s second album, A Little Bit Longer, the Jonas Brothers became the first artist ever to have three albums on the Billboard Top 10 at once – Jonas Brothers, A Little Bit Longer and the Camp Rock Soundtrack. In 2009, they released Lines, Vines And Trying Times, a global hit that became their second #1 album in one year.
Since then, the Jonas Brothers have sold a combined 20 million units worldwide and achieved the Guinness World Record for Most Singles to Enter Straight into the US Top 20 in a year by a group (five singles in 2009). They received their first Grammy nomination in 2008 for Best New Artist, and have won nearly 50 awards across the globe, including an American Music Award.

There is no better display of brotherly love, or Jonas Brothers-ly love, than by allowing your older bro to drive your super slick white Fisker Karma sports car, amirite? Because, just in case you’re unfamiliar, a Fisker is a totally fierce whip with a base sticker price of $100,000 (that’s without the bells and whistles, y’all), and Joe Jonas let his bro Kevin drive it! (Legit, there must be something about Fisker cars that inspire sharing, because remember when Justin Bieber gave his all Chrome Fisker to his pal Sean Kingston? Insanity.)
Yesterday afternoon, Joe (the proud owner of a brand-new rope tat) and Kevin Jonas were snapped going for an adorbz bro-to-bro lunch. After their double order of grilled cheese and tomato soup (we made that up, but how cute would it be if they ordered the same thing??), Kev and Joe casually sauntered back to their marshmallow-colored Fisker and rode off into the sunset. Truth time: I don’t even let my best friend in the entire world slip her same-size-as-mine foot in the two-seasons-ago designer shoes I bought on sale, so we have to give massive props to Joe for trusting his brother enough to drive his precious Fisker. #SharingIsCaring.

WHO: Kevin and Daniele Jonas, stars of the E! hit reality TV show, Married to Jonas, are participating in The Daily News Readers Care to Feed the Hungry Canned Food Drive (DNRC).
WHAT: Married to Jonas Stars and famed couple Kevin and Daniele Jonas will host a food drive at an FDNY firehouse in midtown Manhattan. The couple will assist in the collection of non-perishable food donations and those who attend the event will have the chance to meet, take pictures with and receive autographs from the Jonas’ as well as local firemen. As residents of New Jersey, the couple is participating in this event to support their hungry neighbors in New York City. City Harvest delivers the food it collects throughout the year to the more than 1 million New Yorkers who don’t know where their next meal is coming from, including most recently those who have been impacted by Hurricane Sandy. This year, City Harvest will collect more than 42 million pounds of excess food from all segments of the food industry and deliver it free of charge to some 600 community food programs throughout New York City.

[UPDATE] CBS Stars Bring Gifts and Visit Patients, Including a Surprise from the Jonas Brothers
|

It may have been a foggy morning in Los Angeles, but the beams of smiles and spirit at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles shined through when the talented stars from CBS’ shows such as 90210, CSI Las Vegas, NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles,Vegas, The Insider and Entertainment Tonight visited for the studio’s annual toy drive for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. To the kids and families, it was the perfect way to kick-start the holiday season.
Over 75 boxes of toys arrived accompanied by Ted Danson, Wallace Langham, Brian Dietzen, Elisabeth Harnois, Renee Felice Smith, Anna Belknap, Eric Christian Olsen, Cote de Pablo, Michael Steger, Barrett Foa, Daniela Ruah, Pat Harvey, Kevin Frazier, Chris Jacobs and many others!
The stars personally delivered toys to the kids and spent time talking and meeting the families in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, the Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases, Medical/Surgical Unit and Rehabilitation. Joking, laughing, heart-felt conversation and hugs truly made the kids’ and families’ spirits merry and bright. Pauley Perrett of NCIS became friends with a 15-year-old patient and joked about her nostalgia for the childhood toy, Mr. Potato Head, and how much she loves photo booth photos with friends.
After the bedside visits, the kids were invited for storytime with the stars! This included holiday arts and crafts and a live reading of The Night Before Christmas from Michael Weatherly of NCIS. He insisted on taking his shoes off during story time. The kids laughed while Ted Danson of CSI covered his nose.
The day ended with a live acoustic performance by the Jonas Brothers! Armed with shakers and maracas, the kids enjoyed being part of their live performance and singing along. The Jonas Brothers performed original songs and some holiday tunes. Jovani Fashions has had a ton of surprises these last couple of months. From their announcement as official evening wear sponsor for Z100’s Jingle Ball that will be lighting up Madison Square Garden this Friday night, to their Ultimate giveaway, which includes a meet & greet with Ne-Yo, Jovani is making a glamorous statement this holiday season. To top it off right, the New York-based fashion house announces another surprise this holiday season— Danielle Jonas, star of the hit reality show “Married to Jonas,” will be the new face of Jovani at Z100’s Jingle Ball concert this Friday, December 7th.
