In addition to the performance by the Jonas Brothers, the Kickoff Celebration will include remarks by students and teachers. Lisa Graham Keegan, an education reform pioneer and the former Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction, will emcee the event. Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton will deliver remarks and officially welcome guests to the city, and Andrew Campanella, National School Choice Week’s president, will speak to the crowd live via satellite from the ‘National School Choice Week Special’ whistle-stop train tour.
This is a private, invitation-only event and seats are free, but you must RSVP to attend.
