[UPDATE] The Jonas Brothers to Perform at National School Choice Week Official Kickoff Celebration, January 25

The Jonas Brothers will perform at National School Choice Week’s official Kickoff Celebration on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013 in Phoenix, Arizona.
The internationally-renowned Jonas Brothers will perform a set at the conclusion of the event, which will be held at 6:30 pm at the Phoenix Convention Center. More than 7,000 students, parents, teachers, and leaders from across the country will attend the private event.
The Jonas Brothers are known around the world for their amazing music. The Grammy nominated band has sold a combined 20 million units worldwide, earned over 40 Gold and Platinum record certificates, and won nearly 50 awards across the globe.
National School Choice Week (Jan. 27 to Feb. 2, 2013) shines a spotlight on the need for effective education options for children. Participants support expanding access for families to high-quality public schools, public charter schools, magnet schools, online/digital learning and homeschooling. Following the Official Kickoff, National School Choice Week will feature 3,500 independently-planned special events across all 50 states.
In addition to the performance by the Jonas Brothers, the Kickoff Celebration will include remarks by students and teachers. Lisa Graham Keegan, an education reform pioneer and the former Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction, will emcee the event. Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton will deliver remarks and officially welcome guests to the city, and Andrew Campanella, National School Choice Week’s president, will speak to the crowd live via satellite from the ‘National School Choice Week Special’ whistle-stop train tour.
This is a private, invitation-only event and seats are free, but you must RSVP to attend.

[UPDATE] Jonas Brothers: New Album and Tour Update, New Music Promised!

Jonas Brothers fans are clinging to any bit of news Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas have for us, but honestly? The waiting is the hardest part.
We’re talking about the Jonas Brothers’ new album, which we just wish they would give us a release date to look forward to!
While the JoBros gear up for their upcoming tour, we’re encouraged by tweets like this one from Joe:
“I’m so excited for this year.. So excited to play in South America again. I’m ready for all of you to hear the new music.”
Yes, we’re hanging onto “new music” with all of our might–it’s coming!
Soon, we hope.
Nick’s tweets also reveal that the guys are still hard at work on “new music,” as he wrote earlier this week: “Another great day in the studio…Excited for you all to hear the new music.”
At the risk of sounding overly dramatic, they are killing us with all the teasing and waiting.
Meanwhile, they added that two more concert dates have been added: they’ll be performing in Monterrey February 20 and Mexico City on February 22.

[UPDATE] Jonas Brothers – Most Anticipated Albums of 2013

The Jonas Brothers are seriously taking the saying “quality, not quantity” to heart, waiting four years to put out new music after 2009′s ‘Lines, Vines and Trying Times.’
The guys have yet to announce an official single or release date for their 2013 LP, but Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas did say they are taking songwriting inspiration from pop heavy-hitters like Frank Ocean and Adele.
The JoBros’ upcoming album is already shaping up to be more lyrically personal, as evidenced by the trio’s moody new track about Miley Cyrus, ‘Wedding Bells,’ which they premiered live in 2012. Their other two new tracks, ‘Let’s Go‘ and ‘First Time,’ reveal a more mature sound that leaves their Disney days where they belong — in the past.
